    It DOES work with the Uniden R3 I purchased both the R3 and this mount recently. The clip on this mount doesn’t lock into the body of the R3 as another commenter mentioned, but the clip on the mount does fit snugly into the slot on the body of the R3 and the larger portion of the clip resting on top of the radar detector holds the R3 firmly in place. I suppose the radar detector *technically* could fall out of the holder while driving. Under normal driving conditions, though, not a chance. My R3 has remained in the same…

    Ok mount, but clip doesn’t fit newer Uniden models(R1/R3)… The mount is ok, but I don’t like the teeth on the pieces that clamp to your RVM mount. It will put some nice marks on it. They need to switch to something more like Blendmount.As for the clip, as others have mentioned, it does NOT work with the Uniden R1/R3. Yes it does insert but it is too short to clip in. While some leave it that way, some have discovered that leaving it this way, without clicking in, will eventually bend/warp the internal clip so that it won’t clip anything in…
