    Can’t go overnight with this radio, or at least manufacturer doesn’t supply charger for boat outlets unless 120-volt 2-prong. Product delivered 7/28 and I emailed critical question that day directly to manufacturer through their web site. It is now 8/5 and I have not had any inkling of a response. So, I will return the product. That sucks. Here’s the problem, and it may apply to you. The radio arrives with a charging cradle, and a two-prong 120-volt charging cradle to power the cradle. There is no possible way to charge the radio on common boats with 12-volt systems and either USB ports or cigarette…

    I had toy walkie talkies in the 1980’s that were better quality and more reliable. This radio didnt charge out of the box. Bought a new battery pack for it, still didnt charge. Could take the battery pack out and put it in the charger and jury rig it and it would charge the pack so the charging cradle is good. Seemingly the connection on the back of the radio and the battery pack are not connected or loose. Started shutting off on its own after a month or two even with a fully charged battery. It seemed to turn off everytime the boat moved. Cant use conventional batteries in…
